Gustavo was born in Lisbon and has spent many years travelling the world, embracing new cultures and building meaningful international connections. In the early 2000s, he studied Diplomatic Communication in the United States, strengthening his ability to communicate clearly, work within diverse teams and form trusted relationships across global environments.

After returning to Portugal, Gustavo built his professional network across the country and eventually settled in the Algarve in 2005. His career has been shaped by a strong focus on relationship building, collaboration and delivering value to clients and partners.

With extensive experience in people-focused roles, Gustavo joins Currencies 4 You as our Business Relationship Manager for Portugal, where he plays an important part in developing partnerships and supporting the growing expat community.

Outside of work, Gustavo enjoys sailing, playing tennis and connecting with the local expat community. He also values time with family and friends, preferably over a great meal and a glass of red wine.
